If you’re wondering on how to prospect during this time of social distancing and uncertainty, here’s my six strategies on how to prospect effectively in this new normal. First do your homework on your prospect. Learn as much as you can before you set up the video call or send a video email or even phone call. Then lead off with empathy. While you have done your homework about them, surely you would know about the challenges that they are facing, and you would see opportunities that they have. Provide them something of value to them. While you’re talking with them, make sure you are really listening and asking great open ended questions to learn as much as you can. Finally be bold, and make suggestions.
