I have worked in sales (retail, hospitality, corporate sector) for over 25 years now, Meredith is right. Of course there is a lot more involved, but at the same time it can be quite simple. http://kmrbeaute.blogspot.com
Thank you! Means a lot coming from someone with your level of experience…
Thank you so much for the tip, I always look forward to your videos! How do you invest in customers before they invest in you?
Great question! ask open ended questions, listen and then do something for them with no expectation of return. Let me give you an example. Just this week I was calling on a potential client, in the initial sales calls I was asking questions and listening, what I heard was they were getting ready to hold their annual board dinner and were frustrated with the restaurant they typically used. I recognized that I had heard that, and made a few suggestions for some great restaurants I knew would be perfect for them, and then offered to make the introductions. I simply did something for my potential customer that was about their priority – not mine!
I so appreciate your questions, and always welcome more!
